Sisterhood

Only for Corey will I post this not so flattering picture of myself. Stacey and Corey look great. I should remember not to wear hats!

It was great to see Corey again, hook her up in person with Stacey and watch our kids play, knowing we understood each other without saying a word. But….we did share a few words! I mean, we’re girls after all! There’s just something empowering knowing they “get” it. We don’t have to explain why our kid is sitting by himself or having to decide whether to use a token for swim time, why we’re watching for inappropriate behavior and signs of meltdowns. It’s a sad, unfortunate club that we belong to, but at least there is strength in a common sisterhood. We build each other up by our mere presence and instant friendship. So thank you, Corey and Stacey, for the bond we share. Here’s to healing for ALL our kids!

I think it is a great picture!

  2. Corey says:

I just noticed your shirt! Emerald Isle is the name of the resort we’re staying at in Orlando this year! You’re like a prophet, Marty! (or a psychic? one or the other)

  3. Stacey says:

You look great also. The hat does look good on you. We had a great time. Love ya
