#3 Fun Things to do By Yourself

Wow. I remember the days of young ones running around and the thought that 5 minutes alone was appealing. Going to the bathroom by myself was a challenge. Now I’m older, my kids are obviously older and all those things are easier. Yet I turn to mush around babies and feel this urge to snatch them out of their mother’s arms and run away with them! Especially this one.

Young moms, don’t wish your days away. Fill them with service and devotion to your family. There will be an eternal reward for a job done well.

On to the list:

Fun Things to do By Yourself
1. Scrapbook
2. Go to craft stores
3. Exercise
4. Private devotion time
5. Blog!
6. Eat a large bowl of ice cream 🙂
7. Watch a chick flick, uninterrupted
8. Read a book
9. Surf pinterest

I am realizing that the days are fleeting and I no longer need so much time alone. I desire to spend time with my kids (especially the older ones who don’t live here) and am flexible whenever they’re here. They are my first priority, outside of my relationship to God and my marriage.
