Chris Tomlin Majesty from Marty's Musings

There is nothing like being at the beach and reveling in God’s majesty.

Chris Tomlin Majesty from Marty's Musings

We can’t even begin to imagine the magnitude of the world God has created.

Chris Tomlin Majesty from Marty's Musings

Yet as we vacationed last week I tried to record a few details to remind me when I forget.

Chris Tomlin Majesty from Marty's Musings

As I share my Simple Gift this Sunday I pray you will be reminded of God’s great love for you.

And if you don’t mind, say a little prayer for my husband and I as we begin a new journey today in our music ministry.

(If you are viewing this via email or reader just click on the post title to watch video.)

Crown Him with many crowns
The Lamb upon His throne
Hark! How the heavenly anthem drowns
All music but its own;
Awake my soul and sing
Of Him who died for me
And hail Him as thy matchless King
Through all eternity.[Chorus:]
Majesty, Lord of all
Let every throne before Him fall
The King of kings, O come adore
Our God who reigns forever – more.[Verse 2:]
Crown Him Lord of life
Who triumphed o’er the grave
And rose victorious in the strife
For those He came to save;
His glories now we sing
Who died and rose on high
Who died eternal life to bring
And lives that death may die.[Bridge:]
All hail, Redeemer, hail
For He has died for me
His praise and glory shall not fail
Throughout eternity.

I would love it if you’d read more as I share my heart in my Simple Gift Sunday posts.

  1. Thank you Marty!

  2. Lovely. Simply lovely Marty. You just took my breath away… and then I inhaled Him. 🙂

    • Hi, Chris. Thanks for always taking the time to encourage my writing and photography. We actually sang the Chris Tomlin song at our new church Sunday and I was blessed to be a part of it. Have a gerat day!

  3. {Melinda} The photos are beautiful. Hope you had a great vacation, Marty. Blessings and prayers as you step into a new phase of ministry. 🙂

    • Thanks, Melinda, for the encouragement on my Sunday post. The day went well and we believe our new church is ripe for God to do a might work. Praise Him!

  4. The beach splashes me as a reminder of his unending love and grace.

Delighted to meet you today. I hope you don’t mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you. This looks like a refreshing place to dip into some serious goodness.

Also wanted to extend an invite … to share this post (or another fave) to encourage even more moms. We could use it.

  9. Hey Marty! Visiting from SDG today. Loved this post and especially enjoyed the photos. Simple gifts for sure! I’m from the Midwest and haven’t gotten to the beach much in my life. Maybe because of that, I think sand and shells are such precious gifts! xoxo

    • Hi, Sarah! Thanks so much for commenting on my devotional post from last Sunday. Where in the midwest are you? My husband grew up in Iowa. He loves the beach!

  10. When I can’t go to the beach, I love to imagine it in my mind. It’s always a treat! And congrats, I suppose, are in order? I’m praying that the new ministry you and your husband have been called to will be amazing and bring much glory to God, Marty! Thanks for your blog that leads us all to worship!

  11. Your favorite child says:

Yay! It’s finally fixed! Loved this post, and you! – Your favorite.

  12. Beautiful, as always, my friend. Congrats on the new adventure you and your sweet hubby are embarking on. May He draw each of you closer to His heart as you direct others to raise their eyes and hearts to Him.

    Love you bunches!

    • You’re so sweet, Barb! The post that the link went to was an old one from last year. My blog was such a mess for several days and since it’s now a source of income it wasn’t good! Love you!

  13. Janel Hutton says:

    Lovely post Marty!
