Is there anyone who isn’t a Little Mermaid fan?

How can you resist the cute Ariel and not fall in love with the beautiful music?

The film was originally released in theaters in 1989.

That’s right. 1989. And I still have a copy on videocassette.

Don’t judge me.

We still have a working VCR player. Can you top that?

I was so excited when I was contacted with an opportunity to giveaway The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition 2-Disc Blu-ray+DVD Combo Pack with Digital Copy.

    The Little Mermaid is my ABSOLUTE favorite Disney movie. My little sister and I watched it everyday growing up. We know every word and song by heart. And my daughter is a red head so we love red headed princesses!

  5. Hard to say what my favorite Disney Movie is. I have to go with the Pirates of the Carribean series. I know that it not just one but it is what it is. I love the little Mermaid. I have such great memories of my youngest daughter watching it. Now I have Grandchildren. They can see it on my big screen TV that would be cool.

  11. Glad I’m not the only one with a still-working VCR 😉 I just bought 2 VCR tapes – Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty for my granddaughter–75 cents each at an Estate Sale-yippee! I would love to have a DVD player and The Little Mermaid. What a nice present it would be for my granddaughter (who turns 4 on Sept 30)!

    • Nope. We still have a VCR, too. Mostly my youngest two watch on occasion, but I still monitor what they watch. With Netflix and Huluplus that allows them to watch some educational programs during the day of we’re having “one of those weeks.” Have a great day Jane!
