Like many of you who faithfully read this blog, I am a working mom. Although blogging has introduced me to many wonderful people and companies and helped provide an income, my family still comes first.

Feeding them is always a priority but finding the time to feed them balanced meals is still a challenge.

Alexia Foods wants to help you and I serve meals that our family will love, with all-natural, distinctive, real ingredients.

Alexia offers frozen potatoes, appetizers, breads and side dishes with minimal ingredients that serve-up exceptional taste. I don’t know about you, but my family still expects my meals to taste good whether I have 10 minutes or 10 hours!

I was amazed at the 5 easy meal plans I came up with using Alexia’s creative flavor combinations as the perfect complement to my everyday meals.

I love my slow cooker. I pore through cookbooks and the internet, looking for inspiration for meal planning. My Slow Cooker Lasagna is a family favorite and was a faithful part of our Sunday lunches for many years. Recently I served it with Alexia Crinkle Cut Sweet Potato Fries with Sea Salt & Black Pepper for a delicious change of pace.

Another slow cooker favorite is Pulled Pork Sandwiches served with cole slaw on my favorite homemade hamburger buns (and once you taste these buns you won’t want to go back to store bought!). They were great served with Alexia Seasoned Waffle Cut Fries.

Hands down, my family’s favorite Alexia side dish was the Seasoned Waffle Cut Fries. I cooked them on a baking sheet without even adding a drop of oil and they were perfect. Serve them with these kid friendly Chicken Pockets made with canned chicken and cream cheese and you have an easy and delicious meal. (I totally forgot to dip the pockets in butter and roll in bread crumbs but they were good without, too, and nobody noticed!)

The Onion Rings with Panko Breading and Sea Salt were also delicious as an accompaniment to a breaded chicken breast topped with spaghetti sauce and spinach ravioli. Honey mustard is my favorite dipping sauce but the rest of my family loves plain ol’ ketchup.

Ready in 25 minutes or less, Alexia products help me pull a meal together that my teenagers (and mom and dad) loved.

Last but not least is the old “breakfast for dinner” option. My family is not big on breakfast first thing in the morning, but we do love it at night. This Sausage Breakfast Casserole was perfect and was cooked in my ever faithful slow cooker. This time the Waffle Cut Fries were inside the dish! Pumpkin Cranberry Bread rounded out the meal.

Alexia frozen sides are a delicious addition to any weeknight meal! They are that little something extra to help create a balanced meal with real ingredients and an exceptional taste!
