Last weekend my married daughter Rachel met me at Havertys, about halfway between her home and mine, for a fun afternoon dreaming of all things home related. My daughter has her own personal style and loves to know the latest in decor and fashion. Our shopping trip was a perfect opportunity to daydream and compare notes on our homes with home decorating ideas with Havertys!
Our guide for the day was the general manager Kirk Holcomb. He did a terrific job of sharing the history of this particular store (in their current location since 1970 with a 3-story showroom) and changes for the future (the store is moving to a more heavily trafficked area by the local mall). For you southerners like me, there are six Havertys locations in NC.
One of the hardest things for me personally is selecting the right accessories to finish out a space. Havertys was full of beautiful products and ideas to get my creative juices flowing.
Love the pops of yellow and red.
Don’t you love these classy accents?
Wouldn’t it be easy to refresh your space without doing a complete overhaul?
One of the reasons I enjoyed visiting Havertys so much was the the inspiration provided through the staging of the rooms.
You can enjoy the whole room and envision the furniture in your own space. Havertys even has a free in-home design program to assist you in staging your home with their products. They’ll do the work for you!
Since I’m making over our master bedroom I’m always on the lookout for ideas and inspiration. Havertys has styles from traditional to modern and everything in between.
Doesn’t this wardrobe remind you of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe?
Love the iron details on this bed.
One of the best ways to tie a room together is with fabric and Havertys had some amazing choices.
My husband’s worst nightmare…….a collection of pillows! Does anyone else have the same problem trying to convince their family that pillows belong ON the furniture and not IN the floor?
I might have gotten a wee bit too comfortable on this chaise lounge!
My daughter was lovin’ this leather chair!
And lest you think we didn’t peruse a few items for the men we love, here are a few ideas for the dads in your life (hint, hint. Father’s Day is Sunday!)
Need some office inspiration? You’ll find it here.
What man wouldn’t enjoy his flat screen TV on this beautiful entertainment console?
It’s a terrific time of year to shop at Havertys with their Fourth of July sale running from June 18 to July 6. June 14 is their Decorating ABC’s program with tons of info and ideas at your fingertips!
