My Simple Gift to you this Sunday are these simple words.
It is well with my soul.
I’m praying that in the midst of life’s storms and chaos that it is indeed…….well with your soul.

Grander earth has quaked before
Moved by the sound of His voice
Seas that are shaken and stirred
Can be calmed and broken for my regard
Through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
Through it all, through it all
It is well
Through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
It is well with me
Far be it from me to not believe
Even when my eyes can’t see
And this mountain that’s in front of me
Will be thrown into the midst of the sea
So let go my soul and trust in Him
The waves and wind still know His name
It is well with my soul

Thank you for today’s post. This song has come to me in different versions every day for a week now. I do not believe in coincidences. If you don’t know the story of the writer of this hymn I recommend researching it. It’s very inspiring.
Hi, Ann. I always know God is trying to get my attention when I hear the same scripture or message over and over again! I do know the story behind this hymn, and I actually sang a version of it at my mom’s funeral. Hard, but what I knew she would have wanted. Blessings!
It is well with my soul!
Bless you, Lynn!
Marty,
This is a beautiful song, I love it! Who is singing this? Thank you so much for sharing!!
