Mark Lowry Mary DId You Know video and devotion

Are you racing towards Christmas at the speed of light?

Me, too.

I’m going to take my own advice.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath.

Breathe in. Breathe out.

Let the stress roll off your shoulders.

Remember the story of Mary?

Surely she was stressed. Frightened.

Unready to become mother to the Savior.

Today my prayer is that you will let “Mary Did You Know” bring truth to your life.

We don’t know about tomorrow.

Our fears and sleeplessness won’t change God’s love.

For that Baby Boy brought us life.

Have you visited my new blog? A Woman After God’s Own Heart is where I share more of my faith and family.

“Mary Did You Know”

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has come to make you new?
This Child that you delivered will soon deliver you.Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will calm the storm with His hand?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little Baby you kissed the face of God?The blind will see.
The deaf will hear.
The dead will live again.
The lame will leap.
The dumb will speak
The praises of The Lamb.Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day rule the nations?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy is heaven’s perfect Lamb?
The sleeping Child you’re holding is the Great, I Am.

    Dear Marty,
This is my first time visiting your blog. Was taking the Christmas tour to see all the homes. I saw your Mary Did You Know and had to write to you.
My daughter’s family through marriage had their Christmas party yesterday. Its all the sibilings and their families. Instead of the Christmas story, our host showed us a video of Mark Lowry on stage talking about the birth of Jesus only in a humerous manner. He was so good. Didn’t know he was a Christian comedian. He than sang his song he wrote. I didn’t realize he wrote it. His song says it all and I don’t think there was a dry eye in our family. Just couldn’t resist writing you after just experiencing this yesterday.
Now, I will go and look at your Christmas Tour. Thank you for sharing all the words to the song. I had a hard time sleeping last night because the song kept running through my mind.
Going to check out your other blog too.
    Hugs,
    Connie

Hi, Connie. Isn’t Mark Lowry amazing? Hysterically funny and moving at the same time. I’m so glad God knew you needed this today!

My 2nd blog is a work in progress. It will eventually have more of our personal story of faith and adoption reality, but right now Marty’s Musings is taking up all my time. Thank you so much for visiting!
