My reason for making the recipe below? Found a jar of apple pie filling and knew it needed to be used up. So I searched online and found this yummy recipe.
I always like to credit the original recipe if I found it online so here’s the inspiration for Apple Pie Crumb Bars.

Ingredients
1 18-ounce package yellow cake mix 1 1/4 cups quick-cooking oats, divided 1/2 cup margarine, softened, divided 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2-3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 egg
1 21-ounce can apple pie filling
1/4 cup brown sugar
Directions
By all means serve this with ice cream! I had a little bit the night I made it and then went to the grocery store the next day just to get vanilla ice cream! It was delicious.
